MEN IN FORM
Sachin Tendulkar (India):
The Little Master has had another dominant World Cup and it seems lady luck is on his side as well. He was dropped four times in a scratchy innings against Pakistan, but still managed to grind out a match-winning 85. Has 464 runs at 58.00 in eight matches and will be the prized wicket once again in Mumbai.
Muttiah Muralidaran (Sri Lanka): Like Tendulkar, Murali has shown in this tournament that age doesn't weary a champion player. He hasn't been at 100 per cent fitness throughout this tournament, but still has 15 wickets at 16.80 to his name and took two crucial scalps in the semi-final. He took a wicket with his last ball in Test cricket and one with his final delivery on home soil. Only a brave man would bet against another fairytale finish in the final.
DID YOU KNOW?
No team has ever won a World Cup final on home soil.
Sri Lanka beat India in the 1996 World Cup semi-final at Eden Gardens after the angry Indian crowd rioted. India were 8-120 in pursuit of 252 when the crowd became restless and Sri Lanka were awarded the match by default.
Eight Sri Lanka players and six India players have played in a World Cup final before. Muttiah Muralidaran is the only World Cup winner amongst them.
KEY MATCH-UP
Zaheer Khan v Sri Lanka's top three

Over 70 per cent of Sri Lanka's runs at this tournament have been scored by their top three batsmen, which puts plenty of pressure on India's opening bowlers. Tillakaratne Dilshan (467 runs at 66.71), Upul Tharanga (393 at 65.50) and Kumar Sangakkara (417 at 104.25) are all in the top five run-scorers at the tournament, while the rest of the Sri Lanka batting order has failed to fire. If Zaheer, who has taken 19 wickets at 17.77, can pick up a few wickets early, the match will be India's to lose.
STATS AMAZING
India have won 14 of their past 16 ODIs against Sri Lanka in India.
Muttiah Muralidaran hasn't played a one-day international against India in India since 2005.
Kumar Sangakkara has 417 runs at an average of 104.25 at this World Cup and hasn't been dismissed for less than 49.
JUNIOR SAYS
The two most competitive teams have got through to the final and it's going to be a great game. It's hard to pick a winner - there's nothing between the two sides and they match up really well player for player.
Both teams have relied on their top order and have played very similarly throughout the tournament. Sri Lanka's middle order hasn't had a lot of batting and India's middle to lower order has crumbled at times as well.
Lasith Malinga really impressed me in the semi-final so he will be a key bowler, while Zaheer Khan is India's best. But I think Sri Lanka's spin attack is slightly better than India's.
It will probably come down to one or two brilliant individual performances that will decide the match. For India, the usual suspects of Tendulkar and Sehwag are the dangers. Sehwag has been getting out when he's been firing and he is a player who can win a match off his own bat.
I tipped Sri Lanka at the start of the tournament and I'd like to see them win it, so I'll tip them
