First American Man in Space and the First Video Game 1962

U.S Astronaut John Glenn goes "ballistic" to become the first American in space. The U.S. space program is in high gear. Technologies used in the space program will begin to filter down for consumer and educational use.

The first video game, "Spacewars," is created by a team at MIT.
